CALIFORNIA BSIS NEW SECURITY OFFICER TRAINING COURSE - 8 HOURS

To get your Guard Card:

1. Complete this course,
2. within 48 hours receive an email from the instructor containing the training certificate and detailed next steps
3. submit your Live Scan fingerprints (this is NOT included; additional $49 plus rolling fee paid directly to Live Scan agent),
4. create a BreEZe account,
5. fill out and submit the BSIS guard card application online and pay the application fee (this is NOT included; an additional $55 fee is paid directly to B.S.I.S.).

The CA Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (B.S.I.S.) requires all Security Guards to be licensed in the State of California and complete an approved, 8-hour training course on “Power to Arrest” (4 hours) and “Weapons of Mass Destruction” (4 hours).
